Shipping Policy

At Ottawa Picture Framing, we take great care in preparing and packaging every order to ensure it arrives safely and in excellent condition.

Processing Time

All shipping orders are processed within 2–5 business days after completion, unless otherwise specified. Custom framing orders may require additional production time, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.

Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Local (Ontario): 1–3 business days

  • Canada-wide: 2–7 business days

  • United States: 5–10 business days

  • International: 7–21 business days (depending on destination)

Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to carrier issues beyond our control.

Shipping Carriers

We primarily use trusted carriers such as Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, and Purolator, depending on destination and package size.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, dependent on whether you chose the option, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking details to update.

Packaging & Protection

All items are professionally packaged using protective materials suitable for fragile artwork and frames. Oversized or glass-containing pieces may be shipped in reinforced packaging or crates when necessary.

Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available at our shop:
1600 Merivale Road, Ottawa, Ontario

You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship within Canada and the United States. For international orders, please contact us directly for a custom shipping quote.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of:

  • The packaging

  • The damaged item

We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

If your package is lost in transit, please contact us and we will initiate a claim with the carrier.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
